We at SEBO Stein & Co. have been developing and producing high-quality vacuum cleaners for domestic and commercial cleaning at our company headquarters in Velbert for over 40 years. As the world market leader for brush vacuum cleaners in the contract cleaning sector, we have made it our mission to consider environmentally friendly and resource-saving processes and products in all areas of our company, in addition to the purely economic and entrepreneurial aspects. This environmentally friendly approach begins with product design and continues through production at our company and our suppliers to administration and sales.

100% MADE IN GERMANY

The vacuum cleaners are 100% assembled in our facility in Velbert. This step is crucial as it ensures that all components fit together perfectly and function smoothly. Each vacuum cleaner is carefully assembled by our qualified specialists and then thoroughly tested to ensure that it functions perfectly and offers customers the highest level of satisfaction.

Our focus on in-house production of all components and in-house assembly offers a multitude of advantages. Firstly, it enables strict quality control at every step of the production process. Secondly, it promotes the local economy by creating jobs and helping to strengthen the regional economy. Last but not least, this also means a reduction in the ecological footprint, as long transport routes can be thus avoided.

SUSTAINABLE PARTNERSHIPS AND CLIMATE-NEUTRAL SHIPPING

We often maintain long-term and trusting partnerships with our suppliers. Where possible, we look for regional suppliers who meet our values ​​and guarantee the shortest possible supply chains to us. When delivering to our customers, we rely on 100% climate-neutral parcel shipping and regularly receive the climate-neutral shipping award for this.

PRESERVING VALUE - DURABILITY FROM CONVICTION

With our products, we send a clear signal about responsible consumption. Durability begins with the design of the vacuum cleaner. Our engineers use their many years of expertise to develop vacuum cleaners that can withstand the stresses and strains of everyday life. This is put through its paces in our in-house laboratory. In our vacuum cleaners, we only use materials and components that pass our strict tests and thus meet our own quality standards in terms of shock resistance, durability and longevity.

EXCELLENT REPAIRABILITY

SEBO vacuum cleaners are not designed as disposable products and are developed in such a way that repairs can be carried out easily and maintenance is minimal. This means that if a SEBO vacuum cleaner breaks down, it does not need to be thrown away but can be repaired in an environmentally friendly way. To this end, we offer our customers quick availability of spare parts and a very wide range of spare parts that our customers can rely on for a long time.

RECYCLING UND AVOIDING WASTE

We aim to minimize our ecological footprint. Recycling and waste prevention are important steps towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future. A notable example of this is the shock protection of our SEBO AIRBELT K, which is made from recycled mattresses. This innovative solution not only helps reduce waste and protect the environment, but also shows how creatively and effectively recycling can be used in production.

Our site was completely converted to LED lighting, resulting in savings of 33kW or 44%. Our transport packaging and commercial sales packaging are collected by a company commissioned by us and, above all, recycled. This applies to packaging made of paper, cardboard and cardboard and the plastic straps associated with it. By recycling these materials, 264 tons of resources and an additional 27,957 kilograms of greenhouse gases were saved in 2021.
